2022 Hechtsheimer Kirchenstück Riesling

Our Riesling from Hechtsheim’s top location “Kirchenstück”.
We picked the grapes by hand on September 26, 2022. After a short standing time, the berries were pressed and the juice was poured into two barrique barrels. Our single-vineyard wine matured in wooden barrels for a period of more than 18 months before being bottled in February 2024. The Kirchenstück Riesling from the 2022 vintage impresses with its fruity, delicate acidity and intense juiciness. It impresses with elegant minerality and a scent of sandalwood and hay. The taste reveals notes of dried apricot and fresh, juicy grapefruit. A wine we love!
