Our Riesling from the top Hechtsheim vineyard site “Kirchenstück” is anything but understated. The 2024 vintage impressively demonstrates what happens when an exceptional vineyard site, ripe fruit and careful oak ageing come together. Aged entirely in 225-litre barriques for 24 months, it is powerful, focused and profound — while retaining its elegance.

The hand-picked grapes, harvested on 3 October 2024, form the foundation of a wine that was given the time and patience needed to fully unfold. On the nose, juicy peach, delicate orange zest, subtle vanilla and the ethereal spice of sandalwood come together in a complex and captivating interplay of aromas.

On the palate, this Riesling is mineral, structured and precise. Its ripe fruit is supported by a fine, lively acidity that gives the wine tension and energy. Extended ageing in barrique adds depth, a smooth, silky texture and subtle spice, without overshadowing the wine’s origin or its distinctive Riesling character.

A single vineyard Riesling that not only tells the story of where it comes from, but also where it is going. For Riesling lovers seeking power and precision — and finding both at the highest level. A wine we truly love!

Perfect for immediate enjoyment or for further ageing and development in your own cellar.
