GERMAN REDWINE AWARD 2024 – silver medal 87 points

“Youthful tension and guaranteed great future development. Excellent length!”
— Ulrich Sautter, Falstaff

Refined, deep, and quietly expressive – the 2021 Laubenheimer Frühburgunder reveals the sensual side of this delicate grape variety.

After 14 days of spontaneous fermentation on the skins and 24 months of maturation in barrique, it unfolds with remarkable harmony and precision. Notes of blueberry, cassis, and dried tomato intertwine with subtle herbal spice to create a complex and captivating bouquet.

On the palate, it’s juicy, elegant, and finely structured, carried by a vibrant youthful tension that hints at its impressive ageing potential. The long barrel maturation lends depth and poise, while preserving the purity of the fruit.

A Frühburgunder of character, length, and finesse – a wine that continues to evolve beautifully in the glass.
